The mineral water at Terme di Salice is one of the most complete in the world, thanks to the richness of the sulphuretted and saline springs.
The sulphuretted water from the “Mont’Alfeo” spring is one of the richest in sulphuretted hydrogen in the whole of Italy. This high concentration allows an extremely wide range of applications, both curative and aesthetic. It also has considerable relaxing properties, related to the sedative action encountered in cases of nervous hyper-excitability. At skin level, it has a known positive action on physiological cell renewal.
The saline water of the “Sales” spring is renowned for its anti-inflammatory action and its ability to stimulate cellular activity, thus accelerating the main metabolic processes. This action is connected to the strong concentrations of mineral salts. The best known and most widely available natural saline water is sea water, which has a salt density of between 1 and 2 degrees Beaumé. The saline waters of the Sales Spring have a concentration of between 8 and 10 degrees Beaumé.
Action on the locomotive system - bones, muscles and joints -
Spas have always helped in rehabilitation following accidents, in dealing with traumas, in eliminating forms of arthritis and inflammation of the muscles and tendons. Action on the otorhinolaryngological and pulmonary systems - ear, nose, throat, lungs -

Action on the skin system - skin -
Spa water encourages proper skin cell function, and is particularly efficacious in the treatment of dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, eczema. Sulphuretted water, through immersion or bathing.
Action on the peripheral circulatory system - veins and lymph vessels -
Thanks to its “anti-oedematic” action, sulphuretted water improves venous circulation in the lower limbs. A cycle of treatment will result in an obvious reduction in swelling, thanks to elimination of excess fluids. Sulphuretted water, through hydromassage with optional addition of ozone and/or underwater lymph draining and vascular treatment at different temperatures.
Action on the female reproductive system
Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and endocrine stimulating properties, spa treatments are also indicated in the treatment of numerous disturbances relating to inflammation of the reproductive system, such as irritation of the vulva, vaginitis, sterility of the tuba, recovery from surgery. Saline and/or sulphuretted water, by means of irrigation, mud packs, partial or total bathing.
