From October 3rd, Terme di Salice offers a wide range of courses for all ages and tastes: from workouts in the fascinating belle époque course room, to water sports in the new thermal pool, from antalgic gymnastics to brand new aquapilates, to yoga, to push power, to aquilibrum…
every day there are numerous courses, a full range suited to all needs and to all ages.
before the courses it is possible to savour the fresh, health-giving air of the spa park and then…. to complete the day in full relaxation, what could be better than a regenerating session of hydromassage, sauna, Turkish bath, aroma and chromotherapy shower and a cup of warm tisane?
THE COURSES
Abdominal & Flex – duration 50’
Activity aimed at working the abdominal and body muscles. Part of the lesson is aimed at developing muscular elasticity using flexibility exercises.
Aqualates - duration 45’
Pilates in the water (see Pilates). The water makes the movements foreseen in pilates classes even more harmonious and fluid.
Aquafitness - duration 45’
Toning exercises performed in the water either free or using small pieces of equipment. When the body is submerged in water there is no damage to the articulations, and the resistance provided by the water itself provides an excellent cardiovascular workout.
Aquacombat - duration 45’
Aquatic version of kick-boxing. Aquacombat is excellent to train muscles and heart, to tone and to increase calorie expenditure.
It has no counter indications, as it allows the back and knees to work unloaded.
Aquilibrium - duration 45’
A new method of interpreting aquatics, creating a perfect harmony of body, psyche and water. Bodily equilibrium and the pleasure of “feeling the water” all contribute to give superior wellbeing.
Aquantalgica - duration 45’
Carefully targeted, gradual exercises to improve all bodily functions, particularly suitable for those wishing to achieve physical and mental wellbeing.
Antalgic gymnastics in water increase flexibility, muscle tone and at the same time distend the spinal column, particularly in the lumbar and cervical area.
Pilates - duration 50’
This is a discipline that teaches us to have a correct posture, improving body elasticity and fluidity of movement. It can be divided into: Pilates Mat Work – floor work - Pilates Band – standard method plus the use of elastic bands - Pilates Ring – uses a fitness ring that increases the difficulty of the normal exercises used in the standard method.
Push Power - duration 50’
Slimming and muscular toning course. It also uses weights and bars.
Total body - duration 50’
Course and combination of floor exercises, aimed at firming the muscles, also using weights and elastics.
Wake-up – duration 50’
Gentle muscle wake-up method to gain flexibility and elasticity. Includes stretching and extension exercises.
